The Put (Ministry of Economic Development) has made available a fund to finance projects related to theDigital Agenda and atSustainable Industry, the budget is equal to 500 million euros which will be replenished on an annual basis in order to meet the demands of companies that will grow around these areas.
As communicated by the dicastery now chaired by Stefano Patuanelli, the two decrees destined to relaunch the subsidized interventions in favor of the great Research and Development projects are being published in the Official Journal. The first decree will allow the fund to be financed for innovative companies.
The measure is financed through resources of the PRI, the Revolving Fund of Cassa depositi e prestiti for business and investment support, and the FCS, the Fund for sustainable growth of the ministry itself. It is also planned to reserve some facilitations for interventions concerning the reconversion of production processes in the context of the circular economy.
With regard to the second decree, a new facility is defined with it in favor of research and development projects promoted within the technological areas Smart factory, Agrifood is Life sciences. This measure is aimed at companies that carry out industrial, agro-industrial, artisan and service industry activities, with a reserve of 50 million euros for Calabria, Campania, Puglia and Sicily.
The second decree also provides for facilities in the "high performance calculation" sector that are consistent with the national smart specialization strategy. Procedures and deadlines for the presentation of facilitation applications will be defined by ministerial measures now in the process of approval.
