Fabiana Dadone, Minister of Public Administration and Simplification, confirmed that in the Budget Law some constraints will be defined on the objectives achieved which will influence the remuneration of the managers responsible for the digital transition. In essence, those who can prove that they have achieved the expected goals will earn more.
The person responsible for the transition to digital (or more simply RTD) is an expected figure of the art. 17 of the CAD (Digital Administration Code), a single text that brings together and organizes all the rules concerning the computerization of the Public Administration in relations with citizens and businesses. It is headed by a management office that must determine the (re) organizational methods for the digitization of services.
Among the tasks of the RTD, for example, is to promote initiatives regarding the implementation of the directives defined by the President of the Council of Ministers (or by a delegated Minister) to facilitate technological innovation, to contain the time and costs of the relations between Italians and Public Administrations and to make the organization of their administration consistent with the use of digital technologies.
In this regard, theAgency for Digital Italy has organized courses for the formation of RTDs that will be held starting from October 29, 2019. Up to December 17, 2019, 7 Webinars and 3 "in-person" meetings will be available dedicated to topics relevant to the activities of this manager, it is about a training course that is part of the initiatives envisaged by the Three Year Plan 2019 – 2021 for IT in the Public Administration.
Courses in the presence of 18, 29 November and 17 December will last half a day and will focus on the issues of specialized digital skills in the Public Administration, the promotion of digital services and accessibility guidelines, by presenting cases of study and practical exercises. The Webinars will be broadcast instead every Tuesday from 15:00 to 16:30.
