Redmond celebrates the success of Microsoft Teams

Waiting for Microsoft Inspire 2019, conference dedicated to the business partners of the House of Redmond to be held next week, the group led by Satya Nadella wanted to present the results achieved by the project Microsoft Teams. 13 million daily users and 19 on a weekly basis would testify to its success.

Microsoft Teams is a communication platform designed specifically for enterprise contexts that provides various services including a chat, support for videoconferences, tools for storage and content synchronization, tools for file sharing and for the development of collaborative projects.

Born as an evolution of Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams supports integration with different types of applications, both Microsoft and third-party. In the case of the former, interoperability with the package is essential Office 365, the Cloud-based variant accessible via Redmond's subscription suite for productivity.

At the commercial level Microsoft Teams represents an alternative to Slack, a collaborative solution that owes its diffusion to the fact of being multi-platform. According to the numbers presented by Redmond, the "home" project would have already exceeded the competition that would not exceed 10 million active users on a daily basis.

It is likely that during the Microsoft Inspire will be confirmed some expected novelties for Microsoft Teams, such as support for priority notifications (one every two minutes until the recipient replies), confirmation of reading messages and the possibility of sending announcements via one channel or between multiple channels at a time .
